Remember how fandoms, plural, had a complete meltdown? That fear that the archive would never come back up? Not a good one. Remenice and get angry again here.
Anyway, Archive of Our Own cannot be the end all, be all repository of fannish works. That's too much responsiblity to place on one website. It needs to be decentralized somewhat so that if it ever goes down for good one day, all that media is not forever lost.
I'm just-tea-thanks, aka dogtagsandsmut, and I'm doing my part. This little corner of the internet will be for collecting my favorite works across my favorite fandoms. I guess I'll also host copies of my writing as well, just in case.
If you enjoy any of the below pairings or fandoms, feel free to poke around. I'd like to say I have pretty good taste in fics
If I've archived your work and you don't want it hosted here, drop me an email at nothingelseworks@gmail.com and I'll remove it. Happy reading!
Wishing to be the Friction - ipretendtobesane Buck and Eddie are straight best friends who start having no strings attached sex. Eddie has a hard time having sex with someone he doesn't trust, and Buck's tired of hookups after being with Abby. Besides, they're both comfortable with their sexuality, and there's nothing wrong with giving your friend a hand. What's surprising is how long it took them to fall into bed together, really. What's entirely unsurprising is how quickly strings start getting attached.
I Hit the Accelerator (But the Car was in Reverse) - extasiswings, letmetellyouaboutmyfeels When Buck is forced to confront the truth about his breakup with Abby, having casual sex with his hot new coworker seems like the best rebound idea. Unfortunately, that hot new coworker turns into his best friend. But best friends can keep having sex with each other, right? There's no way this could possibly go wrong.
what we might do (if we stop keeping a secret) - indomitablelove 'This isn't how I wanted to tell people. I thought we'd get the chance to do it right.'- Red, White and Royal Blue, Casey McQuiston, p.327 ---or, in another world, Alex and Henry get to do it right.
>Fire Eye'd Boy - gloss Something about his ~innocent~ look in the cantina when Han asked if he'd never heard of the Falcon stuck me as him trying to get a raise out of Han. It's because they actually met a couple of years before, and by met I mean hooked up.
